Grounded in Faith

I am grounded in my faith, and my faith serves as the foundation of who I am as a leader, a public servant, and a member of this community. My faith in Jesus Christ shapes my character, guides my decisions, and reminds me daily that leadership isn’t about “authority”, it isn’t about a “position” or a “title”. To me, leadership is about responsibility, humility, and service to others.
I believe true leadership means putting people before self, listening before speaking, and leading with integrity even when no one is watching. It means serving others with compassion, standing firm in difficult moments, and doing what is right; not what is easy.
When people ask me what kind of leader I am, my answer is rather simple; I am a servant leader. My commitment as Sheriff will be to lead with faith, humility, and a genuine heart for service, never forgetting where I came from and where I have been, always striving to honor God and serve this community with integrity and purpose.
